Development of a land locked site owned by Springboard Housing Association, which was only accessible from the car park owned by LABO Housing Association. Both housing associations teamed up to develop the site and benefit from excessive parking on the neighbouring scheme.
The project consists of two 2 & 3 storey blocks around a courtyard. The scheme consists of 10no. 2 & 3 bedroom houses and flats.
Due to the simplicity of design and easily buildable building, the tendered price was 10% below the estimated construction cost.
The project completed on site in August 2006.
