The scheme comprises of a development site currently occupied by a shopping parade and offices.
The proposed mixed use development will provide shops, community spaces, head office for a housing association and 75 flats. The site is within the town centre close to public transport nodes.
It is at the junction of a busy high street location forking off in two directions and provides an opportunity for a landmark development.
