Renovation & conversion of a disused Victorian fur factory into 25 management workshops and offices generating a total of 2,000 sqm of commercial floor area.
The factory was disused for 15-20 years prior to its restoration. The penetration of weather had done extensive damage to the fabric and structure.
Most of the original architectural features in the building were reused in the restoration.
View of the external walkway with linkages to small courtyards and enclosures as featured on the original scheme.
The original architectural features of the drive shaft, hoist and metal windows were maintained to blend in with the new bridge link and part cobbled and block paved pathways.
The three storey high brick exterior was sand blasted and the original metal windows were restored.
